CRAIG GRITZEN

Craig Gritzen is a Los Angeles-based photographer, creative director, interior designer, and writer working across interiors, architecture, real estate, hospitality, and an ongoing observational practice.

Before pursuing creative work full time, Craig built a career in science and research, earning a Master of Science from the University of Utah. That analytical background continues to shape the way he approaches creative work — through observation, structure, experimentation, and an attention to details that might otherwise go unnoticed.

After developing his creative practice in Salt Lake City, Craig relocated to Los Angeles, where he is now based in Silver Lake. His work in interior design informs the way he reads proportion, material, light, spatial hierarchy, architectural detail, and atmosphere before making a photograph. He is especially interested in the relationship between people, place, and the environments they inhabit.

Craig is also Founder, Principal Designer, and Creative Director of Curated Style Collective, a Los Angeles interior design and lifestyle studio.
